Gail J. Bowman-Jacks

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Gail J. Bowman-Jacks, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Gail was born on April 9, 1957, in Fort Bragg, NC and passed away on June 23, 2024, in East orange due to natural causes.
Throughout her life, Gail dedicated herself to the healthcare industry, working as a skilled Surgical technician at Mountainside Medical Center. Her unwavering commitment to helping others and her gentle demeanor endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Gail leaves behind a loving family including her husband Winston Jacks, her daughters Athena McMillan, Angela Norton, Faith Jacks and her son Winston Jacks. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Yasmine Hewitt, Yahsim Norton, Charde McMillan and Hakeem Samuels and her precious great-granddaughter Kehlani Williams. Along with her sister’s Sheila Collins and Regina Mitchell and her brother’s Jerome Thomas and Robert Thomas. As well as her extended family and friends. Gail was preceded in death by her mother Edith Hall and her father Arthur Thomas.
To honor and celebrate Gail’s life, funeral services are scheduled as follows. There will be a public Viewing at Marrocco Memorial Chapel – 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton, NJ on July 14, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
