Dominguez. Devoted grandmother to Sofia, Ramon, Martin, Anthony, Richard, Robert, Jonathan, Margarita, Frank, Jordan, Jeudy, Paulie, Jeurhy, Isabella, and Jeslynn. Dear Great Grandmother to Jacob,
Camila, and Victoria.
Sofia emigrated to the United States in 1986 settling in Union City, she lived in North Bergen for five years before moving to Clifton in 2003.
She was a cherished mother, devoted wife, and adoring grandmother. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family. Throughout her life, she found immense joy in caring for her children and grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit and warm embrace created a home filled with love and laughter. She had a passion for cooking, especially for large gatherings where she could share her love and create lasting memories with family. She cherished the moments spent shopping with her daughters, finding joy in their shared experiences and the bonds they strengthened together. She delighted in going out to dinner with her children as they shared stories and laughter. She had a contagious laughter that lit up every room she entered. Her positive outlook on life and her ability to find humor in every situation endeared her to all who knew her. Sofia will be deeply missed by her loving family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched with her warmth, generosity, and unconditional love.
Forever in our hearts, Sophia (Mami) will be remembered for her boundless love and the countless cherished memories she leaves behind.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 15, 2024 from 4 pm to 8 pm at the Marrocco Memorial Chapel – 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Services at the Marrocco Memorial Chapel will be held on Tuesday, July
16, 2024 at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Paul RC Church - 124 Union Avenue, Clifton at 10 AM. Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
