Albert Colgate

Colgate, Albert J., 94 of West Milford, passed away on October 13, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Ann Colgate and Joan Vargo. Loving father to Ann Marie Colgate of Clifton and Ken Colgate & his wife Kathy of Pompton Plains. Dear grandfather to Angela and Alex.

Albert was born in Glen Ridge and lived in West Milford for the past years. He worked as a Purchasing Agent for G&H Mechanical Laboratory in Wayne. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was an avid golfer and bowler; a former parishioner of St. Philips the Apostle RC Church in Clifton, a member of the St. Philip’s Knights of Columbus, he was a Parishioner of Our Lady of Queen of Peace Church in Hewitt and was a member of the Choir and also taught CCD at the church.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 20th, 2017 at from 9:30 AM to 10:30 at the Marrocco Memorial Chapel – 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton followed by an Inurnment at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson. In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association Greater New Jersey Chapter – 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834-1365.
