Alfredo Giustina, of Clifton, NJ, passed away on April 2, 2022 at the age of 94. He was born in San Vito di Cadore, Italy in the heart of the Dolomite Alps. Alfredo and his wife Maria immigrated to Botany Village, Clifton in 1954. Prior to retirement, Alfredo was a tool and die maker for Cincinnati Milacron. Until his early 90’s, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. In his earlier years, he was an Alpine skier, bobsledder and mountaineer, with the peaks of Antelao, Cristallo and Tofane among his conquests. He was a member and past officer of the Italian American Cooperative Association.
In addition to Maria, his wife of 68 years, Alfredo is survived by his son Gimi and wife Marguerite, his daughter Delia Petrula, and four grandchildren, Andrew and Joseph Giustina, and Matthew and Lucas Petrula. He was predeceased by his sister Delia Con, his brothers Egidio and Emilio, and son-in-law Michael Petrula.
Visiting on Tuesday from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Marrocco Memorial Chapel, 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10AM at Marrocco Memorial Chapel followed by interment at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.
