Alvin Lee Payne, 89, of Haledon passed away on January 12, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Marion Payne. Loving father of Alvin Payne, Jr. Grandfather of James Payne.
Mr. Payne was born in Alexandria, Virginia and lived many years in Haledon. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a manager for Two Guys Department Store in Kearny before his retirement.
Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Friday at 10:15 AM followed by a funeral mass at Saint James of the Marches RC Church Totowa at 10:45 AM. Interment General William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery Wrightstown.
