Andreas Ioannou

Andreas Ioannou, age 94, passed away on January 4, 2026, in Oakland, New Jersey.

He was born on November 30, 1931, in Cyprus. Andreas was a self-employed carpenter for many years, known for his strong work ethic and skilled craftsmanship. He was a devoted member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Clifton, New Jersey.

Andreas was the loving father of Sid Ioannou and Angela Hadjiapostoli, and the late Lucy Caplanis. He is also survived by five cherished grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He is further survived by his sister, Dimitrou Ioannou.

Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 818 Valley Road, Clifton, New Jersey. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair, New Jersey.

Andreas will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his faith, and his lifelong commitment to honest work.
