Barbara Ann Zanca Billy of Berwick, PA (born in Lodi, NJ, November 6, 1958 - April 5, 2024) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children.
Barbara was an independent spirit and took inspiration, gratitude, and happiness from many simple things in life. She had an artistic soul and loved music, poetry, creative imagery, interior decoration, needlepoints, and puzzles. She was welcoming and generous to everyone she met. She enjoyed silly humor, expressive colors, harbor scenes, beautiful sunsets, green plants, crocheting and cooking and baking for everyone.
Barbara attended Lodi High School and took pride in her work as a Certified Medical Assistant for over a decade. Some of her fondest memories were summer weeks at Seapointe Village, the family trip to Ireland, singing and dancing in the kitchen, and watching her children play their music. She loved her children above all else. Her deep empathy, kindness, and bravery are a legacy that live on in them.
She is survived by her daughter Kristen Mazza and son-in-law James; son Joseph M. Billy III; son Matthew Billy and daughter-in-spirit Gabby Aliotta; mother Ronnie Bell; sister and brother-in-law Stacey (Bell) and Tom Floyd; sister Shannon Bell; nephew Tom Neuschafer and his wife Jenny Picciano; husband and friend Joseph M. Billy Jr; and many other cherished nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved twin sister Dorothy Bell and brother John Zanca, and parents-in-law Joseph M. and Joan Billy.
