Barry was born on July 1, 1932 in Paterson to the late Michael and Helen Goorevich, and grew up in Passaic. He was pre-deceased by his loving wife, Roberta (nee Lampone) on May 6, 2002.
Barry served in the Army during the Korean War, and was a car salesman for most of his life.
He loved his NY Giants, NY Yankees, gambling at the casinos and going to Newark for Portuguese food.
Barry is survived his daughter, Judy & her husband, Michael Gergats, Helaine and her husband, Michael Humenik, grandchildren Rachel Gergats and Hunter Humenik. He's also survived by his brother, Martin Goorevich and his wife, Loretta, and many nieces and nephews.
