Bernard Vihl Jr., 83, of Clifton, New Jersey passed away in his home on Thursday, November 2, 2017. He was born on October 28, 1934 in Passaic, NJ to Bernhard Vihl Sr. and Elfriede Vihl, who came to United States from Konstadt, Germany in 1924. Although he never married he lived a happy life. Bernard is survived by his cousin Ulrike Horstmann, her husband Juergen of Melle, Germany and their four children and sixteen grandchildren. He will be deeply missed and always be remembered as cousin “Bernie”. Bernard will forever stay in the hearts of his caregiver of 12 years, Laura Marquez, who became a mother to him and a grandfather to her family, and Garry Biskoff who took the greatest care of him and was a beloved friend for all his life.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, November 15th 2017 at the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in Paterson, NJ. Arrangements by Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton
