Carmine Del Core

Del Core, Carmine, 87 of Clifton, passed away on January 18, 2017. Beloved husband of Amy Del Core (Cattai). Loving father to Richard & his wife Linda of Bluffton, SC and Diane Vargo & her husband George of Flanders, NJ. Devoted grandfather “The Gramps” of Gabriel, Amanda, Steven, Michael & his wife Karen, Nicholas & his wife Sarah, Garrett, great grandfather to Bella & Sammy.

Carmine was born in Lyndhurst and lived in Clifton for 65 years. He was a machinist for 25 years working for Bendix in Teterboro. Subsequently he worked at Burns & Roe in East Rutherford for 10 years. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church in Clifton, where he was an Usher and bingo worker for 40 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 347, the Italian American Family Association and The Immaculata Council Knights of Columbus.

Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial – 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton on Monday at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart RC Church at 10 AM. Entombment Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Sunday 2-6 PM. In Lieu of flowers contributions can be made for a Memorial Bench to be placed in Carmine’s memory at Sunny Hill Resort & Golf Course in Greenville, NY.
