Daniel Joseph Varano

Daniel Joseph Varano, of Fair Lawn, New Jersey, passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 45. He was born on August 10, 1981, in Wayne, New Jersey, to Bruno and Donna Varano.

Daniel was a truly personable and charming man whose warm personality made him loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a genuine ability to make people feel comfortable, welcomed, and valued, if you met him once you could not forget his smile and the positive energy he projected. Above all else, Daniel cherished his family and the time he spent with the people he loved.

Daniel dedicated seven years of his life to law enforcement, serving others with commitment and pride. Outside of his work, he was a devoted Mets fan who enjoyed the simple pleasures of just being with family and friends.

He was the beloved son of Bruno and Donna Varano; loving brother of David Varano and his wife, Jennifer, and Alexis Varano and her husband, Santino, dear uncle to Christian, Peter, Mia, Luca, Nico and Ava, whom he adored as well as the rest of his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him. His kindness, charm, and unforgettable personality will remain in our collective hearts forever.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Marrocco Memorial Chapel, 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton, New Jersey. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 12, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Valley Roman Catholic Church in Wayne, New Jersey. Interment will follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery.
