Dmitry Wozniak

Wozniak, Dmitry, 95, of Elmwood Park ,passes away on October 10, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Maria Wozniak. Loving father to Christina & her husband Kenneth Trusits. Grandfather to Andrew Trusits. He is also survived by his family in Ukraine

Mr. Wozniak was born in the Ukraine and came to the US in 1950 settling in NYC, he lived in Yonkers and the last 40 years in Elmwood Park. He was a machinist for Philip’s Electronics for 40 years. During World War II Mr. Wozniak served in the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, UPA. He was a member of the Ukrainian Credit Union and the Association of Machinist & Aerospace Workers Union. He was also a parishioner of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Passaic.

Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue on Wednesday at 8:45 AM then to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church at 9:30 AM. Interment Holy Spirit Cemetery, Hamptonburg, NY. Visiting Tuesday 4-8 PM Parastas Tuesday 6:30 PM
