Elizabeth S. Kosuth, affectionately known as Liz, was a shining light in the lives of many. Born on December 29, 1953, in Passaic, New Jersey, Liz dedicated her life to both her profession and her faith. A proud member of the National Honors Society at Pope Plus High School, she exemplified hard work, determination, and a deep sense of purpose.
Liz began her career as an X-ray Technician at Beth Israel Hospital, where she served with compassion and dedication from 1971 to 1980. Pursuing new horizons, she transitioned to the field of accounting, becoming the office manager at Nachi America in Carlstadt, New Jersey. Liz’s meticulous nature and keen intellect also took her to roles at Hasselblad and the Summit Medical Group, where she continued to make a significant impact through her work in the accounting department.
Liz was more than her professional accomplishments; she was a woman of profound faith, deeply rooted in her Christian beliefs. Her life was a testament to love, grace, and the beauty of helping others. She found immense joy in prayer and cherished moments spent with her family, embodying a spirit full of laughter, care, and quiet strength.
As a devoted wife, Liz took great pride in her marriage to the love of her life and soulmate Mark Kosuth, whom she married in 1980. This union brought her immense joy as they navigated life together, marking a significant milestone as one of her proudest accomplishments.
Beyond her work and commitment to family, Liz had a profound passion for cooking, often sharing her culinary delights with loved ones. She also found solace in the world of art, expressing her creativity through oil paintings that reflected her vibrant personality.
Liz passed away on December 26, 2025, in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and an unwavering spirit. Her presence will be deeply missed by those who were fortunate enough to know her, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her husband, Mark Kosuth, and all who loved her.
