Bakelaar, Elroy,86 , of Clifton passed away on March 10, 2015. Beloved Husband for 65 years of Helen (Romanack) Bakelaar. Loving father of Dorothy & her late husband Richard Passenti and Eleanor Bakelaar-Menniti both of Clifton. Grandfather of Nicole Passenti of Clifton, Andrew Menniti & his wife Victoria of Egg Harbor Twp. and the late Richard A. Passenti. Great Grandfather of Santino. Brother of Robert Quickel of Ocean City, Maryland.
Mr. Bakelaar was a lifelong Clifton resident. He served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Athenia Reformed Church Clifton.
Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Saturday at 10 AM Interment East Ridgelawn Cemetery. Visiting Friday 4-8 PM . In Lieu of flowers contributions to the Athenia Reformed Church Memorial Endowment Fund would be appreciated.
