Frank R. Vara

Vara, Frank, 85, of Clifton passed away on November 13, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Vara. Loving father of Roger Vara of Garfield, Ronald and Richard Vara, both of Clifton. Dear brother of Eleanor Anderson of Wood Ridge, Anthony Vara of Pequannock, Anna Marie Wazaney of Pequannock and Cheryl Adelung of New Milford. Mr. Vara was born in Lodi and lived in Clifton for most of his life. He was an office service manager at Wechsler Coffee in Moonachie; prior to that he worked at Philips Lighting in East Rutherford and he was also a manager for the A&P supermarket for 20 years. He was a lifelong member of the Local # 248 American Federation of Musicians. Funeral Service on Monday at 10 AM at Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton. Interment George Washington Memorial Park. Visiting Sunday 2-5 PM.
