Murphy, Frederick, 86, of Garfield on November 19, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Rompa for 53 years. Loving father to Lauren Murphy of Clifton and Deborah Prezito of Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Grandfather to Joseph Potenza, Michael Spinella, Stephanie Spinella, Jasmine Durham & Jacob Durham. Great grandfather to Autumn. Mr. Murphy was born in Passaic and lived most of his life in Garfield. He was a World War II Navy Veteran and a member of the First Methodist Church of Passaic. He had been an expeditor for Dumont Fairfchild of Clifton for 30 years. Private cremation under the direction of the Powell-Marrocco FuneralHome 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton.
