James A. Barbarita

Barbarita, James A., 83, of Clifton passed away on August 19, 2014. Beloved husband of Joann (Petie) Barbarita. Loving father of Denise Gioscia and her husband Richard of Santa Clara, CA and Debra Barbarita of Kissimmee, FL. Devoted grandfather of Melissa, Sunshine, William, Elisa and Kristen. He is also survived by six great grandchildren. Mr. Barbarita was born in the Bronx and lived in Cliffside Park before moving to Clifton 7 years ago.  He was a self-employed insurance broker for 64 years. He was a parishioner of St. Andrew’s RC Church in Clifton.  Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Saturday at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Andrew’s RC Church at 10 AM. Entombment East Ridgelawn Cemetery. Visiting Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In Lieu of Flowers contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society - P.O.
