James De Biase

De Biase, James, 91, of Passaic passed away on December 30, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Rosaria “Sarah” (Cancellieri), Dear father of Maria Lane of Passaic and Denise & her husband Joseph Basile of Parsippany. Devoted grandfather to James Lane, Stephanie & Michael Basile. Dear Great grandfather of Ronnie & Roxanne Lane. Brother of the late Christina Castellano, Nina Costa, Mary Olivia & Josephine Cancellieri.

Mr. De Biase was the Passaic Postmaster for 22 years. Prior he owned the Stadium Garage in Passaic for over 25 years. He was a World War II Army Air Corp Veteran and a member and past commander of the American Legion Post # 200 in Passaic. He also served on the Passaic Planning Board and the Board of Directors of the Passaic/Clifton Boys Club. He was a member of the Passaic Unico and Passaic Lion’s Club.

Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Wednesday at 9:15 AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church at 10 AM. Interment East Ridgelawn Cemetery. Visiting Tuesday 3-5 & 7-9 PM
