Janice Alesso, 69, of Stewartsville, NJ, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of the late Vincent “Jimmy” Alesso and the late Victoria “Dolly” Alesso.

Born and raised in Passaic, Janice later lived in Clifton before moving to Stewartsville in 2005. She attended St. Nicholas Grammar School in Passaic and graduated from Clifton High School in 1974. She went on to earn her associate’s degree from Felician University.

Janice built a successful career, beginning at Hoffman-La Roche in Clifton as Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager. She later served as a Manager in the Tax Department at Air Products in Allentown, PA. Following her retirement, she continued to stay active in her community, working part-time as a sales associate at Home Depot in Stewartsville.

She is survived by her sister, Joanne Gourley of Cape Coral, Florida, many cousins and friends, and her cherished feline companion, Ivy Jo.

Janice had a lifelong love of animals and provided a caring home to many cats over the years. She was known for her warmth, generosity, and willingness to lend a helping hand. Her kindness touched the lives of all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
