Jean De Vita

Jean De Vita, 95, passed away peacefully at home in Clifton, New Jersey, on March 10, 2026.

Born on August 9, 1930, in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, Jean lived a life devoted to her family, friends, and community. She was the beloved wife of the late Guido De Vita, with whom she shared many cherished years.

Jean was a devoted mother to Irene De Vita, the late Norine Rubinetti, Diane De Vita-Chirco, and Michael De Vita. She was also a proud grandmother to Robert, Jacqueline, Giancarlo, Matthew, Marissa and Marco and is survived by her sister, Tina Kahn.

For eight years, Jean worked as a secretary for Richardson Sales, where she was known for her dedication and warm personality. She was also an active member of the Passaic-Clifton UNICO and a volunteer at Passaic General Hospital, reflecting her pride in her heritage and her commitment to community involvement.

Jean had a passion for music, playing piano and singing surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her love of family, her kindness, and the many lives she touched throughout the years. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Clifton, New Jersey.

Jean’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
