Jerome S. Morici, 99, of Clifton, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Virginia Morici, Jerome was the devoted father of Stephen J., Robert A., Christopher J., and Todd A. He was a cherished grandfather to Nicholas, Stephen Jr., Matthew, Maximillian, Heather, Daniel, Evan, Christian, Drew, Meghan, and the late Todd Jr., and a proud great-grandfather to Piper, Hudson, Riley, Eva, Eric, Alexis, Gracie, Mason, Mario, Mackenzie and Madison. Devoted great great-grandfather to Koda.
Born in Passaic and a lifelong resident of Clifton, Jerome was the owner and operator of Jerome S. Morici Inc. for over 50 years, building a legacy of dedication and hard work. A proud veteran of World War II serving in the USN Seabee’s Jerome also earned the rank of Eagle Scout and remained an active supporter of Scouting throughout his life. He was awarded the Silver Beaver Award and was a Vigil member of the Order of the Arrow. His passion for classic cars led to his membership in the Vintage Sport Car Club of America, where he shared in the joy of automotive history and camaraderie.
Jerome will be remembered for his steadfast work ethic, his deep love for his family, and his quiet strength and integrity.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Marrocco Memorial Chapel, 470 Colfax Ave., Clifton, NJ. A funeral will be held on Friday, September 26, beginning at 10:15 AM at the chapel, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
