Joseph W. Giliberti

Joseph W. Giliberti aka “Joe the Hat” 81, passed away peacefully at home on September 3, 2026, in Paterson, New Jersey. He was born on August 3, 1945, in New York City.

Joseph proudly served his country as a United States Army Vietnam Veteran. He was also the longtime owner of Baseball City in North Haledon, a sports memorabilia store that reflected his passion for baseball and sports.

Joseph was the beloved husband of Patricia (Ramm) Giliberti. He was a devoted father to Tammy Wilkinson and her husband, Peter, and a cherished grandfather to his grandson, Ryan. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Antoinette Jerahian, niece Michelle Jerahian, dear family friend Red Mato and his dog Dolly.

Joseph will be remembered for his love of family, his passion for baseball, and his service to his country. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
