Justyna Sztokalo

Sztokalo, Justyna, 92 of Garfield, NJ / Sarasota, FL passed away on April 24, 2016. Beloved sister of Anastazia Andruch and loving aunt to ten nieces and nephews with twenty great nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Sztokalo was born in Volia Nyzhnia (Wola Nizna), Ukraine and came to the U.S. in 1954 via Germany. It was only with Justyna’s help that her sister & brothers were able to bring their families to the U.S. by 1961. She also helped each family with living arrangements & jobs. She worked at Hoffmann-La Roche for 22 years and retired to Sarasota, Florida for 28 years. Throughout her life, Justyna enjoyed traveling the world. In 2010, Justyna returned to New Jersey to live with her family.

She was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Passaic and a member of the Roche Retiree Club. She is predeceased by her siblings Ivan, Mychailo, Pawlo, Anna, Petro, Stephan and Mykola.

Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel, 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton on Wednesday at 8:30 AM then to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church at 9:30 AM. Internment St. Andrew’s Cemetery South Bound Brook, NJ. Visiting Tuesday 4-8 PM; Parastas at 6:30 PM.
