Agnolet, Lucia Fides (Milanese) 90 of Clifton, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2014, surrounded by her loved ones at home. Fides was born on July 17,1924, in Sarmede in province of Treviso, Italy and emigrated to the United States in 1938 settling in Raritan before moving to Clifton in 1940. Fides was a beautiful and loving wife, a beloved mother and a devoted daughter. She loved her family, little children, animals, and flowers and gave countless moments of love, kindness and happiness to all she knew. She married John Agnolet in April 1947 and raised two children. She worked at the Forstmann Woolen Co. in Garfield, and as a winder for Spinnerin Yarn Co. in South Hackensack prior to her retirement in 1988. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart R. C. Church. She is survived by her husband John, her daughter Debra Agnolet of Clifton, her son Dr. Glenn Agnolet of College Station, Texas, her brother Anthony B. Milanese of Garner, North Carolina and many loving nieces and nephews. She spent many hours sharing the memories and stories of her parents and her childhood. Fides was preceded in death by her parents Regina (nee Battistuz) and Leone Milanese, and her sisters Mrs. Raymond (Ines) Matchett, and Mrs. Richard (Zaira) Palatini. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to St Jude Children s Research Hospital to continue the love and caring she had for all children. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Tuesday, December 16th, 2014 at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart RC Church at 10 AM. Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation: December 15th, 2014 from 2-4 and from 7-9 PM.
