Marrocco, Marie D. (Jenco), 93, of Clifton, passed away on December 31, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Henry F. Marrocco, Jr. Loving mother to Henry F. Marrocco, III & his wife Anne of Clifton, James J. Marrocco & his wife Nina of Wayne & Judy Marrocco & her husband Matt Miller of San Francisco. Grandmother of Maria, Andreanna, Kristina, Jim & Jackson. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren. Sister of Joel & her husband Dr.Klaus Schrieber of Tuxedo Park, NY.
Marie is predeceased by her sister Phyllis Hassan who passed away 12 hours prior on the same day.
Marie was born in Clifton where she lived most of her life. She was a graduate of St. Elizabeth College in Convent Station and was a librarian assistant for the Clifton Public Library for 13 years . She was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church in Clifton and member and past president of the St. Philip’s Prime Timers.
Marie was a member of the Clifton Retiree Association, Mount Carmel Leisure Club. She served on the Clifton Library Board for 2 years
Funeral from Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Ave. Clifton on Wednesday at 9:15 AM followed by a funeral mass at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church at 10 AM. Interment Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 PM
