Mario "Murph" Disoteo, a true lifelong resident of Clifton, New Jersey, entered eternal life on January 22, 2025; he was 89 years old. Murph was born on March 23, 1935, to Santino and Giulia Disoteo at their family home in Clifton.

In the early 60s, Murph began a long and distinguished career as a Clifton fireman, retiring in the mid-90s and achieving the rank of captain. In retirement, Murph spent time with his family, never missed a Yankee game, and built model airplanes.

Murph was the cherished father of Julie and her husband Mike, Beth and her husband Greg, and the late Mario Disoteo Jr. (aka Marc).He is further survived by his grandchildren, Mikey, Arianna, and Marc. Murph is predeceased by his former wife, Shirley; sister, Molly; and his brother, Bert.
