Michael Tantala

Tantala, Michael, 90 of Clifton, passed away on September 6, 2021. Beloved husband of Eva (Korobchuk) Tantala. Loving father to Nadya Forgacz of Saddle Brook, Lucy Poynton & her husband Charles of Creedmoore, NC. Devoted grandfather to Stephanie Wenger, Daniel J. Wynohradnyk, Tania Moustafa & Mark G. Wynohradnyk. Great grandfather to Rayhanna Moustafa, Makeen Moustafa and Penelope Wenger.

Mr. Tantala was born in Lopushnitsa, Ukraine and emigrated to the United States in 1949 settling in Passaic before moving to Clifton in 1965. He was a Master Carpenter for Frank Cupo Construction for 20 years. He served in the United States Army for four years. He was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Passaic.

Visiting at Marrocco Memorial Chapel – 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 9 AM to 10 AM followed by a Funeral Service at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church at 11 AM. Interment at East Ridgelawn Cemetery.
