Morris Messina

Messina, Morris, 85, of Clifton passed away on December 29, 2020. Beloved husband of Dolores (Del Boccio). Loving father of Lori Messina & Bill Cupo of Roseland, Gary Messina & Pamela of East Rutherford & Denise & John Genello of Caldwell. Brother of Mary, Antoinette & John. Grandfather of John, Jon, Marisa & Maria.

Mr. Messina was born in Hoboken and lived in Weehawken before moving to Clifton 14 years ago. He was a carpenter with the Carpenter’s union local# in NYC for 10 years. Subsequently he was building Inspector for the State of New Jersey for 20 years. He faithfully served in the US Army and was a parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church in Clifton.

Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Monday at 8:45 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church at 9:30 AM. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery No. Arlington. Visiting Sunday 4PM – 8PM. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated.
