Nancy Sokasits

Nancy Sokasits, 74, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, in Morristown, New Jersey.

Born on January 24, 1952, in Passaic, New Jersey, Nancy was the beloved daughter of the late Rudolph and Anne (Binder) Sokasits.

Nancy began her career as a writer for Hoffmann-La Roche and Pfizer, but she soon moved into pharmaceutical advertising. Throughout her 50 year career, Nancy worked for many advertising agencies, including her most recent position with Omnicom Group in New York City. In these roles, Nancy worked as a writer and Creative Director, using her talent, creativity, and leadership skills to launch numerous pharmaceutical products which helped improve many people’s lives. She was respected by colleagues and admired for her commitment, vision, professionalism, and generous spirit throughout her distinguished career.

Nancy is survived by her loving sister, Diana Shagawat and her brother-in-law, Jeffrey Shagawat; her niece, Patricia Kellett; and her nephew, David Shagawat. She will be remembered with love by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Passaic, New Jersey. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Marrocco Memorial Chapel, 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton, New Jersey.

Nancy's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
