Patrick Gorczowski

Patrick Daniel Gorczowski, born on March 12, 2002, in Hackensack, New Jersey, departed this world tragically on May 20, 2025. His bright spirit, which lit up the lives of those he encountered, will be profoundly missed by his family and friends.

A graduate of Elmwood Park High School, Patrick distinguished himself as the captain of the track team, the Crusaders, embodying both leadership and athleticism. He continued to forge his path at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), where he pursued a degree in Computer Science with a particular passion for user experience design. Patrick's innovative spirit shone through in his projects, where he seamlessly blended his love for technology and fitness, creating applications that harnessed artificial intelligence to enhance workout tracking systems. His work was a reflection of his profound commitment to promoting health and well-being, merging his passions into a legacy of creativity and inspiration.

Patrick was not just defined by his achievements; he was a remarkable individual known for always making others feel at ease. His great sense of humor brought lightness to every room, and his laughter resonated deeply with all who knew him. Beyond the classroom and the realms of technology, Patrick was an outdoor enthusiast, finding joy in running and camping, embodying an all-around love for the natural world.

He is survived by his loving parents, Aleksander and Jadwiga; his adoring sister Isabella; and his grandmother Anna, grandparents Jan and Jozefa. He is further survived by his uncle Eugeniusz and his wife Elzbieta Gorczowski, aunt Ewa and her husband Zenon Michalik and his God Father Dariusz and his wife Ewa Gorczowski.

Patrick joins those who have gone before him, including his grandfather Francziszek , grandmother Maria Szpernoga. Though they have departed from this earthly plane, the memories and love they shared continue to live on, woven into the fabric of the family’s history.

Visitation for Patrick will be held at Marrocco Memorial Chapel, located at 470 Colfax Ave, Clifton, NJ, on May 23, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A Mass in honor of Patrick will take place on May 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph RC Church, situated at 7 Parker Avenue, Passaic, NJ. Following the Mass, he will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Saddle Brook, NJ, at 12:15 PM.

In the delicate tapestry of life, Patrick Daniel Gorczowski will forever be remembered as a beacon of laughter, kindness, and unyielding passion for the things he loved. Though his earthly journey has concluded, his radiant spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
