Robert P. Aleman Sr., age 80, of Clifton, NJ, passed away peacefully, on June 10, 2017.
He is survived by his devoted son, Robert P. Aleman Jr. and daughter-in-law Filomena, as well as grandchildren Jennifer and Robert III, and great grandchildren Brandon and Harper.
He was born July 17, 1936 in Paterson, NJ. Robert was an army veteran of The Korean War. He was a member of the Clifton VFW 7165 and the Clifton Elks Lodge 1569, where he had been awarded The Citizen of the Year Award for his untiring efforts to support handicapped children. He was also active at the Clifton DAV.
He had been employed at The Paddock Bar of Clifton for over 35 years as a bartender and was a passionate Jets fan.
Graveside Service will be held Friday at 11 AM at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa. Arrangements by Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Ave. Clifton.
