Robert A. Jaworski, born April 2, 1943, in Passaic, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2025, in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. He was 82 years old.
Robert devoted 30 years of his life to serving the City of Clifton as a laborer with the Department of Public Works. He was well-known for his dedication, reliability, and pride in his work. Beyond his professional life, Robert brought joy to the community in a unique and heartfelt way—he loved Christmas, and for many years he dressed as Santa for the Clifton tree-lighting ceremony, delighting countless families and children.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jeanette “DiStefano” Jaworski, and his loving children: Robert Jaworski and his wife Maureen; Dana Jaworski; Jessica Jaworski; and Christina Swanson and her husband Jay. Robert was a proud and devoted grandfather to Robert, Matthew, Christian, and Angelo, all of whom brought immense happiness to his life. He is also survived by his sister Doreen and her wife Annie, as well as his nephew, Jeffrey DiStefano, each holding a special place in his heart.
Robert will be remembered for his warm spirit, his kindness, and the joy he brought to both his family and his community. His legacy lives on in the memories he created and the lives he touched.
