Sarah Lombardo

Lombardo, Sarah, 97 of Bridgewater (formerly of Woodland Park and Clifton), died peacefully on May 13, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Fred V. Lombardo. Loving mother to Dr. Joseph Lombardo and his wife Mary and Elaine Potkalesky and her husband Thomas. Loving grandmother to Stephen and Helene Lombardo, Marisah Potkalesky, Andrew Lombardo and Sarah Cole, Philip Lombardo and Alena Dillon, Nicholas and Jaime Potkalesky. Great Grandmother to Vincent Lombardo, Victoria Lombardo, Stephen Lombardo Jr., Rowen Lombardo, Isla Lombardo, Violet Lombardo, Brycen Potkalesky and Case Potkalesky. Beloved sister of Adeline De Vries and her husband Jack. & the Late Joseph De Liberto & his wife the late Dorothy De Liberto.

Sarah was born in Passaic and lived in Clifton and Woodland Park before moving to Bridgewater. She was a telecommunications supervisor with the City of Clifton for 35 years retiring in 1994. She was a former parishioner of St. Paul RC Church in Clifton. She was a member of the Clifton Retiree’s Association, St. Paul’s Rosary Society, St. Paul’s Leisure Club and the Mussomeli Society in Garfield.

Visiting on Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 2 to 6 PM at Marrocco Memorial Chapel – 470 Colfax Ave. Clifton, NJ. Funeral from Marrocco Memorial Chapel on Monday, May 19, at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Paul RC Church at 10 AM. Interment at St. Nicholas Cemetery.
