Stella La Fragola

La Fragola, Stella (Ginex), 94 of Clifton, passed away on June 17, 2018. Loving daughter of the late Charles & Catherine (Vacante) Ginex. Beloved wife of the late Alfonso (Joe) La Fragola. Loving mother to the late Arlene Dunn. Devoted grandmother to Tina Giordano and the late Gaetano Giordano. Dear sister to Mildred Leonardo, Caroline Marzano and the late Joseph Ginex, Mary Ciaramella and Jean Sammarco. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and close friends.

Stella was born in Passaic and lived in Clifton for most of her life. She worked at Overbrook Hospital in Verona for 23 years as a Housekeeping Supervisor.

Stella was fun-loving person who liked spending time with her family and friends enjoying many laughs. She had an extraordinary love for her family and always provided support and encouragement. Stella’s playful spirit, optimistic outlook and perseverance will be dearly missed by all.

Funeral from the Marrocco memorial Chapel – 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton on Saturday at 8:45 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Holy Angels RC Church – 473 Main St. Little Falls, NJ at 9:30 AM. Interment Laurel Grove Cemetery. Visiting Friday 5 PM – 8 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association at www.donatenow.heart.org
