Teresa Grecco

Grecco, Teresa Daidone , 96, of Morris Plains on September 30, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Joseph Grecco, former Clifton High School educator, football coach, City Councilman and State Assemblyman. Loving mother of Phyllis Borowski of Byram and the late Jo-Ann Klimek. She was pre-deceased by sisters Jean Costanzo, Rose Dolinoy and Vita Daidone and brother Adolph Duffy Daidone. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Kristin Mueller and Karen Renaud both of Byram, Peter Klimek and his wife Tracy; and Joie Walaas and her husband Arnt all of Fredon, and her nine great grandchildren whom she adored. Mrs. Grecco was born in Passaic and lived in Clifton until 1998 when she moved to Oak Ridge where she resided for 6 years before moving to Morris Plains in 2004. She was an active member of the Hamilton House Museum, the Clifton Women's UNICO, the American Cancer Society and the United Way. She was a gifted seamstress who enjoyed sewing for her children and grandchildren and donating her talent to charitable organizations. Funeral from Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Monday at 10 AM. Entombment Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
