Valerie Gagnon

Valerie Gagnon, of Clifton, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, at the age of 67.

Born in 1958, Valerie dedicated her life to caring for others as a registered nurse. She served for 45 years at St. Mary’s Hospital in Passaic, formerly Passaic Beth Israel Hospital, where her compassion, professionalism, and gentle spirit touched countless lives.

Valerie’s greatest joy was her family, especially her beloved son, Rev. Stephen Prisk, of whom she was immensely proud. Her kindness, faith, and quiet strength were evident in all that she did and will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

Valerie will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Visiting will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Marrocco Memorial Chapel, 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton. A Reception of the Body with visitation will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Church, 276 Diamond Bridge Avenue, Hawthorne followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson.
