Walter Zurawski

Zurawski, Walter, 69, of Clifton passed away on October 30, 2014. Beloved Husband of Maria (Lisiewicz). Loving father of Andrew Zurawski and his wife Chrystine and Christopher Zurawski and his wife Christina. Dear Sister of Olga Smolak and her husband Walter, Bob Zurawski and his wife Kathy, Steve Zurawski and his wife Kristina and Marijka Fanok and her husband John . Devoted grandfather of Roman, Tatyanna, Maksym and Van. Godfather of Lesia Krysyna and Luba Sydor. Mr. Zurwaski was born in Torki, Peremysl, Poland and came to the U.S. in 1965 settling in Brooklyn; he moved to Clifton 43 years ago. He was a mechanic at Electronics Technology Inc. in Irvington for 11 years. He was a member of the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Passaic; he was also member of the Ukrainian Center and the Ukrainian American Youth Association, both in Passaic. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Monday at 8:45 AM then to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church at 9:30 AM. Interment Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Hamptonburgh, NY. Visiting Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Parastas Sunday at 8PM.
