Hawroniak, Wasil, 87 of Garfield on January 18, 2007. Beloved father of Stephen Hawroniak & his wife Mary of Garfield , Irene & her husband Robert Zito-of Westwood. Grandfather of Katherine, Tanya, Lesia, Stephen, Michael, Michele, Kate, Allysa & Robbie. Great Grandfather of Nicholas Stephen. Born in Wola Wyzna, Poland he came to the US in 1949 settling in Garfield. He was a maintenance Mechanic for Westinghouse Electric Co Bloomfield for 25 years Mr. Hawroniak was a parishioner of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church Passaic. He was a founding member of the Ukrainian Center Passaic & a member of the National Lemko Organization Passaic Branch # 42 He is predeceased by his wife Paraska (Dolinchuk) Hawroniak Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Tuesday at 8:30 AM. St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church 9 AM Interment St. Mary s Cemetery. Visiting Sunday 7-9 & Monday 2-4 7-9 Parastas Monday 7:30 PM.
