Wilhelmina "Mimi" Kedash, age 100, of Holland, MI, passed away Friday, July 3, 2015, surrounded by her family.
Born on March 1, 1915, in Nutley, NJ, to John and Elizabeth (Bills) Kedash, she lived in New Jersey until 1976, when she moved to Holland, MI, with her sister, Emma. Mimi grew up as a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Paterson, NJ and became a member of Trinity Reformed Church in Holland, MI. Many will remember her for her crocheting, making and giving gifts, even in the last months of her life. She loved to give away her handiwork, especially Bible marker crosses and Christmas decorations.
Survivors include her sister, Emma Butterworth, Holland, MI; brother, John (Mary) Kedash, NJ; beloved nieces and nephew, Norma McKittrick, Birmingham, AL; Lois (Ed) Miller, Holland, MI; Maryann VanTuyl, NJ; John (Joy) Kedash, NJ; 10 great nieces and nephews; and ten great great nieces and nephews.
Mimi is preceded in death by her brother in law, Tice Butterworth.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday July 9th at the Marrocco Memorial Chapel, 470 Colfax Ave, Clifton, NJ 07013. Burial will take place following the funeral at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson, NJ.
